Join OCA Greater Cleveland at the 73rd Annual One World Day Sunday, September 16 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The Parade of Flags will kick off at 12 noon starting at the Polish Cultural Garden and making its way south to the Syrian Cultural Garden where the Naturalization Ceremony will take place.
OCA Greater Cleveland is honored to be the official organization to do voter registration for this year’s Naturalization Ceremony. If you would like to volunteer with us, you can sign up at SignupGenius.com. We will also have a booth for Voter Registration throughout the event as well as to promote programs including the AT&T Access Program for low-cost Wireline home Internet for qualifying households with at least one resident who participates in the SNAP program.
One World Day is free and open to the public with free parking at the Louis Stokes VA Employee Parking Garage (on Magnolia Drive by E. 105th) with Free shuttle services transporting to the Chinese Garden to the South of the Cultural Gardens at #33 (American Legion Peace Garden of the Nations) and at the Cleveland Metroparks lot (North Gate at Gordon Park) at the north end of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. Several 13 passenger Golf Carts will be available to transport you throughout the event.
This year One World Day will be highlighting Performances, Activities, and Foods in the Cultural Gardens. For a complete list of activities, go to www.cleOWD.org. There will also be Free guided tours on Lolly the Trolley from 1-6 p.m. as well as a “Passport to Peace” booklet that you can take from garden to garden to get a stamp or sticker for visiting.
