Level 1 Certification
A Free 3 hour, Level One Training Tuesday, April 17 from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. will cover the basics of Asian food safety, introduce attendees to the latest health and healthy food trends in restaurants across the state and off-site food service safety.  Training will be in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) with an emphasis on Asian Foods.

A collaboration with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, City of Cleveland Department of Public Health, Asian Services in Action, and OCA Cleveland as an initiative of Project RAISE (Reaching Asian-Americans through Innovative and Supportive Engagement).
As of March 2010, changes to the food code were added that require all new food shop operators to have at least one “Person in Charge” on duty at all times.
The course is taught by a Certified Public Health Inspector.
Limited tickets are available for English speakers to allow space for those who need this special class in their native language and culture. Level 2 Certification
