Join OCA Greater Cleveland for an advance screening of the PBS film Rising Against Asian Hate: One Day in March Sat. Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. at Li Wah, 2999 Payne Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.
This documentary co-produced by CAAM chronicles how the Asian American community came together to fight back against hate.
The film also depicts the importance of building political power and how that is tied to stopping Asian hate.
The documentary features narration by Emmy-nominated actress Sandra Oh and original music by Grammy and Academy Award-winning musician Jon Batiste.
Light refreshments will be provided; registration is needed.
The film is scheduled for a nationwide broadcast on October 17th on PBS.
