History of Cleveland’s Chinatown is now complete!

OCA Greater Cleveland (OCAGC), with a grant from Cleveland Foundation’s Minority Arts and Education Fund, Margaret Wong and Associates and many individual donors, has produced a video documentary on Chinese Americans/immigrants in AsiaTown to commemorate the 150th years of Chinese in Cleveland. The documentary will highlight the history of Cleveland’s AsiaTown from the perspective of Cleveland historians, community leaders, business owners, and residents. Filming started in summer 2021 and was completed in April 2022.

The video already won Best Editing at the 2022 Stanley Film Award and also Best Trailer at the 2022 Horror Hotel International Film Festival and Convention.

A private screening has been planned at Old Stone Church on Saturday, June 4th from 2 pm to 4 pm with Q&A after. Limited seating, if you are interested, you can RSVP by clicking on this link.
