Special Election August 8th Ballot Review & Issue 1

ATTENTION ALL US CITIZENS

 –  VERY IMPORTANT –

SPECIAL ELECTION – Tuesday, AUGUST 8, 2023

It’s very important that all registered voters participate in this Special Election!!

Issue 1 is a proposed amendment to the Ohio Constitution that seeks to change the rules of how citizen-led initiatives to amend the Ohio Constitution become ballot issues and increases the approval percentage for passage from 50% to 60% of votes cast.

Please plan to attend a presentation on Issue 1 to learn the details.

In addition to learning about Issue 1, there will be assistance available to either:

Help you complete your Vote-By-Mail Ballot (Bring your Ballot and State ID)

OR

OCA volunteers will drive you to the Cuyahoga County Board

of Elections so you can vote early In-person (Bring your State ID or US Passport)

REMEMBER – THERE ARE 3 WAYS TO VOTE.  My plan to make sure I vote is:

_____   Vote By Mail – Complete and Submit an Application to Vote By Mail now so you can receive your ballot before the presentation on 7-21-2023.

_____  Vote Early In Person At the Board of Elections from 7-11-2023 to 8-6-2023.

             通過郵寄投票。您必須現在完成郵寄選票申請，保障您在7月21日會議前收到選票。或，

             親自提前投票。在2023 年 7 月 11 日至 8 月6日期間， 提前親自在選舉委員會投票。見附表。大克利夫蘭華美協會OCA 在7月21日會議後提供交通送居民去投票。或，

             於 2023 年 8 月 8 日星期二在您的投票站投票。
