Invitation to Participate in Research Study
Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Experiences Related to COVID-19
Dear OCA Community Members,
Welcome to “Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders experiences related to COVID-19.” This is an important online research study designed to understand the effects of discrimination on wellness in Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI). Your participation is crucial to our research.

This study is being conducted by Stacey Diane A. Litam Ph.D., Eddie T. C. Lam Ph.D., and Kelly Yu-Hsin Liao Ph.D. from Cleveland State University. The Institutional Review Board at Cleveland State University has approved this study. The study involves no more than minimal risk to participants. This risk is no greater than stress incurred from everyday living.

Completing the study takes about 10 to 15 minutes. All responses will remain confidential. In no case will responses from individual participants be identified. All data will be pooled and published in aggregate form only.

The research will not benefit you directly. The results will be used to develop strategies to promote the health and wellbeing of AAPI. The results of this study may be shared in publications, workshops, and presentations.

Completing this study is voluntary. Choosing not to take part in the study will result in no penalty or loss of benefits. You may withdraw from the study at any time.
